Hey Ya’ll… It’s Been a While…

Hey world!

So its been a while (a very long while) since I’ve blogged or even logged in to wordpress.

Well I’ve been busy (haven’t we all been?) with the start of school and now I’ve hit the winter lull where I feel that I just need more to do. So why not start blogging again?

I’m going to start attempting more look books, hauls, and makeup posts. I am continuing to project pan my collection (check out my instagram for more details!) and I have officially started my cruelty free beauty journey.

I am really excited to get back into the swing of blogging and I hope ya’ll enjoy what I have in store!

Until next time! (man it’s been a while since I’ve written that….)

Pan That Palette Intro & Update #1

Hi Everyone!

I took some time off panning palettes after becoming incredibly discouraged (and bored) with my LORAC PRO 2 palette. But I have decided to jump on the wagon of panning the discontinued Stila “In The Light” palette for the rest of 2016. And yes… I am ACTUALLY going to succeed this time… or at least not quit until 1 January 2017.

I decided this last month so this post will be the intro AND the one month update! After this I will post updates on or very close to the first of every month until the end of the year.

I hope you enjoy & lets get started!

CVS, Macy’s, Sephora & Ulta Haul (June 2016)

Hi Everyone!

It’s been a long while since I’ve posted. Whoops! My goal for this Summer is to post at least twice a week (or more if at all possible).

Any how… I recently went on a little shopping spree at the mall and at my local CVS. I bought what seems like a ton of makeup, but compared to past purchases is rather tame.

I purchased mostly lip products and then two Wet ‘n Wild eye products.

I hope you enjoy & lets get into it!

Finish 10 By Fall 2016

Hi Everyone!

Now that “Finish 5 By Cinco de mayo” is officially over and summer is on the way (and if you live where I do the weather is summer weather) I want to start a new panning challenge.

I was going to do a “Finish 5 By Fall” , but I wanted to challenge myself since I have the next four months and 13 days to work through the items.

I hope you enjoy and let’s get into it!

Finish 5 By Cinco de mayo Finale!

Hi Everyone!

We have reached the end of yet another seasonal panning challenge!  Finish 5 By Cinco de mayo proved to be a bit of a challenge for me but I am really happy with my progress! I didn’t finish absolutely everything but I don’t really care because all I wanted to do is make a dent in some of the more daunting products in my collection!

I hope you enjoy & let’s get into it!

Pan That Palette April 2016

Hi Everyone!

I can’t believe that its already May! The year is going by wayyyy too fast!

This is my Pan That Palette 2016 update for the month of April.

Now during this month I lost interest in my original pan that palette. I felt so bored and trapped with just a few colors to play with that I completely ignored my LORAC PRO 2 for the month. I played around with my Urban Decay Naked palette, my Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette, the original LORAC PRO and a few single shadows.

I found that I really like the idea of rotating through my palettes, but I still want to pan something for the year. I think what happened this time was that I took on a big palette for my first Pan That Palette challenge and I was overwhelmed and wasn’t prepared to actually use it every single day. So instead of doing that, for the remainder of the year I am going to pan a five shadow “palette” from the Stila “Sending My Love” 2015 Holiday Gift Set while doing the One Week, One Palette rotation. The five shades in the palette give me enough freedom to use other palettes because I cannot get a complete look from the five shades.

Weekly Makeup Basket (24 April – 30 April)

Hi Everyone!

Today I thought I’d start a new post series on the contents of my weekly “basket” of makeup. It’s not a real basket as I like to keep things tucked away in drawers but you get the idea.

I decided to start this because I realized that I don’t love the idea of sticking to a single blush, contour, or eyeshadow until its completely used up. So I sat down and figured out a schedule so I can rotate through all my shadow, blush, and contour products in about six weeks.

I hope you enjoy & let’s get into it!
